Fancy getting your hands in the clay?
Discover wheel throwing during a 2-hour workshop, guided by our ceramicist. You will learn the basic techniques of the potter’s wheel and create your first piece.
An ideal creative break to start the new term differently and discover ceramics, even with no previous experience.
What the workshop includes:
• 2-hour guided introduction led by our teachers
• Creating your very first wheel-thrown piece (small dish, bowl, small vase…)
Get your hands in the clay:
You will learn to centre the clay, build a simple shape and feel the essential movements of wheel throwing. The perfect opportunity to discover a new passion in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
And afterwards?
Your piece will be fired by our team (temperature: over 1000°C), ready for collection in approximately 3 weeks.

Discover our 3-class Pass, a programme to explore all the stages involved in making a ceramic piece.
Over the course of 3 sessions, you will learn to shape your piece, add the finishing touches and then decorate it, to understand and experience the complete process, from raw clay to the finished piece.

Practical information:

• Groups of 1 to 6 people
• Materials provided – remember to bring an apron and keep your nails short
