The Ernest embodies the timeless elegance of classic dress shoes. Crafted from water-resistant French full-grain calfskin leather, these lace-up derbies effortlessly combine refinement, comfort and character. Their sleek lines and meticulous finish reflect craftsmanship perfected down to the finest detail. Designed to accompany every stride with ease, the Ernest provides lasting comfort while creating a distinctly distinguished silhouette.

Our workshop La Botte Gardiane is located in the Gard region, in France. It has been recognised as one of the Métiers d'Art since 2016. We have also held the French Living Heritage Company (EPV) label since 2007.

Leather: Oiled full-grain retanned with hot stuffing, highly water-resistant. The thickness of this leather makes it very robust and ensures it holds up exceptionally well over time.
Leather origin: French Haas tannery, located in Alsace and EPV-certified.
