Description
This cushion cover honours khadi, a traditional Indian fabric spun and woven entirely by hand using ancestral craftsmanship passed down through generations.
Each cotton fibre is patiently spun on a spinning wheel, called a charkha, before being hand-woven into a vibrant cloth whose gentle irregularities reflect the true authenticity of artisan craft.
Soft, supple and naturally breathable, khadi effortlessly adapts to the seasons, providing a pleasant coolness in summer and warmth in winter. In India, it is far more than a fabric: it embodies a living heritage that, championed by Mahatma Gandhi, became a symbol of preserved craftsmanship and expertise deeply rooted in the nation's history.
The cushion pad is sold separately.
