Vacuum the rug regularly, especially at first, to remove excess wool shed from manufacturing. When vacuuming, remember to remove the rotating brush bar so as not to pull the fibres and damage the material. It is not recommended to place the rugs under a dining table, as repeated friction from chairs can damage the felt over time. In case of stains, blot immediately and then gently rub with a damp sponge. Use a dab of washing-up liquid if marks persist. Over time, if the rug begins to pill, gently pull them away to the side or snip them off flush with a pair of scissors.
