Sophia - Set Of 4 Coffee Cups - Stoneware - Beige Blue

Marie Michielssen has been designing for Serax for over thirty years. Her creations are distinguished by craftsmanship, manual work and a perfect balance between creativity and functionality. The Sophia collection is yet another illustration of this. Originally conceived as a series of vases, it has now grown into a full tableware collection. All Sophia objects feature irregular, intuitive shapes and are hand-painted by Marie Michielssen herself. The spontaneous, energetic blue ink drawings are inspired by oriental calligraphy, where the inspiration of the moment is key. Thanks to intensive handwork, each object has unique imperfections that make every piece distinctive.
