Description
The 'Out of Lines' tableware collection is an exploration of organic oval shapes inspired by nature. Designer Raphael Navot of the French collective Uncharted, together with Julien and Stephanie Cohen, explains: 'Shapes that go beyond the standard circle.' Each piece, such as plates, bowls and cups, celebrates the beauty of imperfection with more than 30 oval forms reminiscent of olives, lemons and plums. While the shapes appear intuitive, they were meticulously chosen following in-depth study. The stoneware pieces are finished with reactive glazes in off-white, ochre or black, and the exterior with a touch of sand, inspired by antique pottery. Despite their handcrafted look, this tableware meets high hospitality standards thanks to high firing temperatures that guarantee durability when stacked. Out of Lines combines functionality and organic beauty for an intuitively set table.
