Strelitzia Nicolai with Basket – Indoor Plant

Strelitzia Nicolai with seagrass basket. Better known as the Bird of Paradise, this plant has large green leaves and purifies the air! It produces oxygen and breaks down harmful substances. This Nicolai variety owes its name to its iconic bird of paradise-shaped flowers. Unfortunately for us, these black and white flowers only grow in the jungle. But don't worry, this fantastic plant features paddle-shaped, robust, long leaves. Indoors, it can reach a height of 2 metres—perfect for creating a true jungle vibe at home!

- Delivery height: 80-90 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant).

- Supplied in a 19 cm diameter nursery pot. Nea jute basket – M

Care

- Watering: Water with a quarter of a litre twice a week (summer and winter). The soil must always remain slightly moist (based on a standard 1-litre watering can).

- Position: Sun (place 2 metres from a south, west, or east-facing window). It needs at least 5 hours of sunlight per day!

- Maintenance: Older leaves naturally turn brown over time. You can trim the brown tips or cut the stem 2 cm above the core.

If the plant is defective (damaged in transit, wrong model received), you have 7 days to contact our customer service. Beyond this period, no refund will be issued. These are living plants subject to transit. A small amount of soil may come loose from the pot during transport. This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Please note that these products cannot be delivered to islands. Any order with a delivery address on an island (e.g. Corsica, Île de Ré, etc.) will be cancelled.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
