Clean with a cleansing lotion to remove dust, salt, and water marks.
Polishing before the first wear is essential to protect against the rain; also apply a moisturising cream to nourish the leather and prolong its lifespan.
Leave to dry for a few minutes, then buff with a suitable horsehair brush.
Repeat every 4 to 5 wears, more often during rainy periods.
Rotate shoes to make them last longer.
Sole care:
Leather soles: fit a rubber sole protector in case of intensive use, or grease regularly for added flexibility and water resistance.
Rubber soles: no specific care needed, they are already durable and waterproof.
