Laëtitia welcomes you to the beautiful Wecandoo ceramics studio, nestled under an arch of the Viaduc des Arts, a hub of Parisian craftsmanship. She invites you to dive into the vibrant world of clay modelling and craft your very own ceramic piece.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll share a warm welcome over a hot or cold drink (water, tea or coffee). Laëtitia will then introduce her craft and the fundamentals of working with clay.

Once the basics are covered, you choose the project you want to create from various shapes: bowl, mug, small dish, trinket tray, small pot or small plate.

Then it’s time to create. Guided step by step, you’ll learn the main hand-building techniques — pinch pot, coil or slab building — to bring your piece to life.

Next comes the customisation. You can add handles to your bowls or mugs, craft a matching spoon, and decorate your piece with engobe slip. Carve, texture, experiment with different tools, and let your creativity run wild to design a piece that truly reflects you.

At the end of the workshop, you clean the equipment and leave your creation with the artisan. She takes care of the drying, glazing and double firing stages. You arrange with her directly how to collect your piece, within about six weeks.

A few weeks later, you collect your lovely ceramic piece, imbued with your creative touch and artistic flair.
